FOOTHILL CULTURAL DISTRICT BOOMS WITH ACTIVITY
SALT LAKE CITY – The Foothill Cultural District today announced the launch of Phase II of its Internet marketing program designed to bring travelers Foothill’s eastside attractions.
Foothill Cultural District, under a generous co-op marketing grant from the Utah Office of Tourism, has partnered with Salt Lake City’s VTour Productions and the Go-Utah Travel Site to promote its members to out-of-state visitors.
One of the country’s premiere cultural districts, Foothill’s members include Fort Douglas Military Museum, Hogle Zoo, Red Butte Garden & Arboretum, This Is The Place Heritage Park, the Olympic Cauldron Park, University Guest House Hotel & Conference Center, Utah Museum of Fine Arts and Utah Museum of Natural History, all located within a 2-square mile area.
As the economy continues to put the brakes on travelers’ vacation spending, Foothill Cultural District, with its widely diverse attractions, is an exciting destination for value-oriented patrons. Not only are several of the sites free to the public – for example, the Fort Douglas Military Museum, the Olympic Cauldron Park and This Is The Place Monument (adjacent to the Village) – but each world class destination hosts an array of special events and features its own discount coupons.
Now, for the inquiring traveler, a simple click on www.Go-Utah.com or the Foothill VTour link on www.foothillcd.com as well as various other prominent tourism websites, the members’ attractions come to life on the Internet.
