In 2015, The Tower at Rice-Eccles Stadium joined the Foothill Cultural District as a historical and cultural landmark of the area. Home to the University of Utah’s Football team, Rice-Eccles shined on the world stage as host of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games’ Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  The Olympic Cauldron, which hosted the Olympic Flame throughout the Games, remains today as an inspiring symbol of excellence, unity and pride.

Against the stunning backdrop of the Salt Lake Valley, The Tower boasts the best views of the city, earning its moniker, Above the City, Above the Rest. A unique, multi-purpose facility that hosts football games, concerts and various outdoor activities, The Tower also hosts weddings, corporate events and other special engagements in its modern interior spaces.

Beginning in September 2015, The Tower at Rice-Eccles Stadium will offer guided tours to the public that will feature the President’s Suite, the Utah Football locker room, the best views of Salt Lake City and other unique features. Tickets may be acquired online at abovethecity.com
