FOOTHILL CULTURAL DISTRICT IS ON THE MOVE WITH IT'S NEW MOBILE WEBSITE

Salt Lake City, UT – You can pack it, punch it, poke it, even prod it…and you’ll always want to keep it at hand.

It’s the Foothill Cultural District’s new mobile website – your direct “click to call” to Salt Lake’s most exciting family-fun attractions.

Just poke or punch in www.foothillcd.com/homepage/sticky:mobile and you’ll virtually fly to one or all of Foothill’s eight venues, such as Hogle Zoo, This Is The Place, Natural History Museum of Utah, Red Butte Garden, Fort Douglas Museum, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the Olympic Cauldron Park.  Once there you’ll discover upcoming special events, hours, ticket information and even coupons good for discounts at every attraction.   Without leaving your smart phone you can make hotel reservations or plan your next conference at the University Guest House Hotel and Conference Center site where all facility information literally will be at your fingertips.

To keep up with the explosive growth of mobile technology, Foothill Cultural District partnered with the Utah Office of Tourism to bring its mobile device to users of tablets and smartphones, including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows.  An extension of the Foothill website, the new design gives users complete website content, with no more visuals sliding off the margins of the handheld device.  All graphics, text and maps are in full view, making searching and planning a snap.

The best news is when the kids say, “Hey Mom, what are we going to do while Dad’s deer hunting?” you can simply speed dial Foothill Cultural District’s mobile website, and the toughest question you’ll have to answer is “Let’s see, shall we go polar bear hunting at Hogle Zoo or dinosaur hunting at the Natural History Museum … or even a treasure hunt at Foothill’s other great places to see?”

Easily accessible by car, TRAX, or bus, Foothill Cultural District is situated within two square miles on or near the University of Utah campus.  Just minutes from downtown, visitors can experience Utah’s fascinating art, culture, history and stunning natural areas.
